AV & Classroom Support
Providing a variety of technical and logistical audiovisual support and assistance for spaces used by VCU School of Medicine.
The AV & Classroom Support (AVC) team enhances undergraduate medical education (UME) by supporting instructor and student use of classroom technology for School of Medicine learning spaces in the James W. & Frances G. McGlothlin Medical Education Center.
The AVC team maintains the AV and technology in the MMEC classroom spaces, as well as providing consultation and training for School of Medicine faculty teaching in centrally-supported classrooms scheduled through the Office of the Vice President for Health Sciences (including Sanger Hall, the Egyptian Building, George Ben Johnston Auditorium, Kontos Medical Sciences Building and the Molecular Medicine Research Building.) Additionally, the AVC team provides consultation and support for AV equipment in departmental spaces, such as conference rooms and classrooms.
