The Center for Educational Informatics (CEI) is a new strategic initiative for the School of Medicine and SOMTech. As an interdisciplinary group of technology and instructional professionals, led by SOMTech, it includes members from across the School of Medicine and VCU Health that seek to enrich the medical education experience for faculty and future physicians through team instruction and evidence-based outcomes.
Operating as a Center of Excellence, this team will work closely with the leaders, course directors, teachers, and students of the School of Medicine to provide development, training, and support for new, emerging technologies focused on medical education and research.
