Kuchta started working at VCU at the Technology Services Help Desk in 2006. He was promoted to the call center manager in 2007. After four years of supporting the faculty, staff and students with various technology-related problems over the phone, Kuchta accepted the infrastructure support analyst position in the School of Medicine. His specialties include Active Directory administration, information security practices, server management, desktop support and excellent customer service. In addition to his career at VCU, he has worked as a Geek Squad agent at Best Buy and has done multiple contracts for Apex Inc., including a contract at the University of Richmond which introduced him to supporting technology in a collegiate environment. His academic record includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
